Instructions for Updating Team Hi-Lites

There is a team Hi-Lites section for each team in each league.  This is a place for the team’s coach (or a designee) to post information regarding their team.  A good example of this could be a write-up of each game, along with some player statistics… This is a nice medium for kids to see their names in lights, and have grandma in Florida watch their progress.  Please update your team’s hi-lites page on the web regularly, or  delegate this task to one of the kid’s parents.

To update your team’s Hi-Lites, you will require the following information, which you should receive from your league's commissioner:

User name:  _________________________

Password:  __________________________

Instructions for updating team Hi-Lites

Go to SHYBA’s web site:  www.shyba.org and Click on the Team Hi-Lites button on the left panel.  Select your league, then, on the next screen, select your team. Now you should see the following screen:

Click on one of the little icon/buttons (image of pen and inkwell) (as circled above) to update your team’s Hi-Lites.  You will be challenged next for your user name & password (see image below).  Your user name and password will be supplied to you by your league’s commissioner.  Contact your commissioner if you loose or forget it.  Please do not allow any kids to have access to this user name and password!!

After you’ve successfully authenticated with your user name & password, you can update your team’s Hi-Lites section.

After you’ve typed your team’s hi-lites into the section provided, click on the submit button (at the very bottom of the screen) to save the information.  It is a good idea to always enter the latest information at the top of the area, and allow the older stuff to scroll down. You will also see the optional Player Statistics table if you have checked the box ON..
